When an employee leaves your company or is no longer active, eHubt allows you to offboard them while keeping their important records intact. This ensures your staff list stays clean and your compliance data remains secure.

✳️ What is Offboarding?

Offboarding removes an employee from the active system—revoking all access—while preserving their data such as ID, documents, and signed contracts.

✅ Use offboarding if you want to retain records without allowing the employee any further access to the eHubt platform.


🚦 How Does Offboarding Work?

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1️⃣ Mark the Employee as Inactive

🔒 This disables login access and attendance tracking.

2️⃣ Copy the Employee’s Email

3️⃣ Open the Delete Prompt

4️⃣ Choose Offboard


🗂️ Where Can I View Offboarded Employees?

To view or retrieve information:

  1. Go to the HR module.

  2. Click Offboarding.

  3. Select Offboarded Employees.

  4. Click See Details next to the employee name.

From here, you can:

Delete Completely removes all data (cannot be recovered) Offboard Preserves full profile, revokes access, ensures compliance

If an employee named Navjot Singh leaves your business, but you may need his documents for future audits or reference, offboarding lets you store his records without keeping him active in your system.

Q: Can I reactivate an offboarded employee later?
A: No. Once offboarded, the account cannot be reactivated. You’d need to create a new profile manually.

Q: Can I add documents after offboarding?
A: Yes. You can continue uploading additional documents for reference even after the employee is offboarded.

Q: Will offboarded employees appear in reports?
A: No. Unlike inactive employees, offboarded profiles are archived and removed from active reports.

Q: Is there a log of who performed the offboarding?
A: Yes. Admin actions are logged in the system for transparency.
